How to date as a transgender woman?

If you are a transgender woman who just join this community, here are things you should know before entering the ts dating world.

First, do not undress yourself unless they do. It is normal and understandable that everyone has needs. But as a transgender woman, you should better wait until you are sure your identity is accepted by your date. It won’t do you any good to rush into the bedroom before everyone is on the same page. You should at least tell him/her the truth about yourself in case anything bad happens.

Second, flirt a lot. Just like it is for cisgender women, if you do want to date, you should put yourself out there and show people that you are available. One of the most effective things is to flirt. The more people you flirt with, the more likely you are going to find the right one.

Third, turn conversations to funny heart-to-heart talk. Read the reactions and expressions of them. Make sure your conversation is relaxing and interesting. This is also one of the approaches to attract people. Do not force anyone. Try to focus on enjoying yourselves. When you are cool, you will have fun. Do not talk about the harassment and negative experiences you had, because these topics will make the atmosphere heavy. You certainly do not want them to feel sorry for you. You don’t need pity. Before he/she falls in love with you, they won’t be impressed by how much you endure and how hard your life is. Find local transgender lesbian.

In many activities, you are going to hear words like “wow, you are tall” or “I never knew you were a man” etc. Be ready for it. No doubt you are going to be questioned and exposed for your sexual identity. Be ready to do a lot of explain many ridiculous questions.

Be prepared to be declined. Practice your smile. If they cannot accept your identity, do not freak out or angry. Just simply say “okay, I understand. Good luck to you!” Let’s face it, there are still a lot of people that cannot fully embrace transgender people. Even if some claim they can, but if they are really offered to date one, I believe not all of them can accept it. Therefore, the sooner you accept the cruel reality, the better.

Learn to forgive them, because no one can be liked by all and no one is perfect. If you hate every person that treat you poorly, you will be exhausted. What doesn’t kill you makes you stronger. Build a strong mind and heart. Your life will be better and you will be happier.

Remember, there are people who will appreciate you. For transgender women, many of them would have depression mainly caused by the feeling of self-depreciation. After they experienced so many negativity and cruelty, it is inevitable that some of them might feel they are abandoned by the world. Do not depressed. You have to believe, with so many people in the world, you are going to find someone who really understand and hold you dear in his/her heart. Don't call them shemales.
